Restaurant ServerConrad's Eat Drink Local is looking for a restaurant server to add to our team. We are a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and operate three event rooms within our doors. The ideal candidate would have high-volume serving experience with some knowledge of craft beer. We are looking for day-time and night-time servers and full and part time!To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with bartenders, cooks, management, and other staff. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is desired, but not required.Responsibilities Include:Be a brand ambassadorPrepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and orderTake food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitudeEnter orders in POS systemEngage with customers in a friendly mannerKnowledge of the menu, cocktail/wine list and beer taps with the ability to make suggestionsEnsure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problemsCollect payments from tablesShow appreciation to our guests every transactionPrepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxesHelp food preparation staff when necessaryComplete opening and closing dutiesFollow running side work and end of shift side workServer Requirements:Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment desiredA positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with other staffAble to perform high-quality work while unsupervisedAttention to cleanliness and safetyPatience and customer-oriented approachExcellent people skills with a friendly attitudeResponsible and trustworthyAble to handle money accurately and operate our POS systemAbility to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner
