Skilled Machine Setup TechnicianSchedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday| 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Pay: $24/hr

We’re looking for an experienced Machine Setup Technician to join a busy manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, setting up equipment, reading blueprints, troubleshooting problems, and making sure production is ready to run successfully.

• Set up and calibrate production equipment , including installing, aligning, and securing tools and fixtures according to blueprints and work orders.
• Select and deliver the correct components and materials needed for production.
• Run first-piece inspections to verify setups and ensure parts meet quality specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and setup-related issues.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to help keep equipment running smoothly.
• Use inspection tools and measuring devices to verify product quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, routers, bills of materials (BOMs), work orders, and technical manuals .
• Operate a Hi-Lo/forklift to move components and materials to production areas.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify when adjustments or repairs are needed.
• Work with operators, team members, and mechanical engineers to resolve production or equipment issues.
• Ensure machine guards are properly in place and follow all required safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience , including assembly and machine/equipment setup experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with tools, fixtures, production equipment, and measuring devices .
• Ability to match machine settings and setups to part specifications and prints.
• Comfortable using computers and manufacturing-related software.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and other technical documentation.
• Experience operating a Hi-Lo/forklift .
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to collaborate and communicate with machine operators, engineers, and other team members.
• Positive, respectful, and team-oriented attitude.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical or skilled-trades training is a plus.
